Management/Administration Team

Centre Manager
Life before Footsteps was working as a physiotherapist where my interest and passion was antenatal education and women’s health. After giving birth to my two children I realised that parenting was the hardest and most rewarding job in life and wanted to support parents in this important role. I worked as the Children and Families Leader at our local church (next door) for six years and during that time realised the need for Christian early childhood education in our community, so spearheaded the setting up Footsteps in 2007. I am passionate about things being done well and supporting the staff to provide an environment where a high standard of education, support and care is provided for children and families to enjoy. I love my job because there are always new challenges to solve, new faces to meet and a never-ending source of ‘crack up’ moments from the beautiful children (and quirky staff) that work and play together at Footsteps.

Office Administrator (Part-time)
I am married to Andrew and have three children who have all attended Footsteps Preschool during their younger years. I always valued the Christian education they received and the knowledge they gained from attending Footsteps. I am excited to be joining the team on a part-time basis and look forward to getting to know the children and families who are now attending Footsteps Preschool. Outside of work, I am passionate about photography and fitness and enjoy doing half marathons and tri-athlthons. I enjoy travelling and have a fond place in my heart for Thailand. I have lived and worked over in London for 3 years working for KPMG Consulting in the Graphic Design Team. I am now looking forward to the new challenge of getting back into the workforce after having a few years off raising my children.

Management Team
I'm married to Marcus, we have 4 children and we really enjoy living in Papatoetoe. I am passionate about connecting people with each other and with God as well as seeing young people contributing to their community and caring for others. I really enjoy watching my children experience the amazing atmosphere here at Footsteps. It is fantastic to see how passionate their teachers are and I know that they are not only getting the best preschool education, but are also learning about the importance of faith and involvement in community from a young age.

Management Team
I am married to Lyall, we have 3 daughters and 1 son. Our oldest was amongst the first children to attend Footsteps when it opened. She has very fond memories of her time spent here and loves to visit her old teachers at the many family gatherings outside of hours hosted here. Our youngest daughter is now attending and loves Preschool days and our son is on the waitlist. My Husband was born and bred in South Auckland and I have lived here for 18 years. We feel very blessed to have found Footsteps and know it is the best choice for our family.
