Lorena segundo

Mabuhay! My name is Lorena Segundo Lewis I am a Filipino, married to a wonderful and supportive husband. We both love travelling around NZ and abroad, we are also active in supporting our church as an elder and a teacher for beginners and kindergarten class.  I have four lovely step-children and a handsome grandson (Oliver), and for 10 years I have made NZ my home and embraced it's cultures and everything it has to offer.

I have a Bachelor of Elementary Education from the Philippines, where I taught for 5 years. I am currently studying at Open Polytechinic College with Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

I am passionate about providing quality care for children and find working with children of all ages to be rewarding and enjoyable. I believe that children are a precious gift from God and have their own unique and special qualities to learn and grow from. I value close relationships with families/whanau and each cultural identity these families represent. I look forward to working together to ensure our children are happy and safe.
